On September 26, 2017, a 100-member delegation inspecting the new rural energy system in Hebei visited and inspected the large biogas project of Xinhua Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd. in Guyuan county. Members of the delegation mainly included main leaders of new rural energy systems at provincial, municipal and county levels of Hebei led by Jiang Guanghua, director of Hebei Provincial New Energy Office. At the meeting, Xinhua Agricultural Technology, owner of the project, highly praised Yingherui’s professional and responsible spirit reflected during engineering construction, as well as highly affirmed the cooperation results. Jiang Kaiqing, marketing director of Yingherui, represented Yingherui to introduce in detail the process and construction of the project and several other key biogas projects completed by the company in Hebei in recent years to the delegation. Both the biogas project of Xinhua Agricultural Technology and Yingherui were highly praised by the delegation, which hoped that Yingherui would more often carry out in-depth cooperation with the government and relevant agricultural enterprises in the aspects of resource and biogas utilization of agricultural wastes such as crop straws and livestock manure in Hebei, so as to make greater contribution to the environmental protection and rural energy industry of Hebei.
As a large biogas project jointly developed by Beijing Yingherui Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. and Xinhua Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd. in Guyuan, this project mainly produces biogas with the raw materials including 22,500 tons of waste residue and 90,000 tons of waste water generated in the process of potato starch production by Xinhua Agriculture every year. By recycling waste water and waste residue, the project achieves multiple objectives including clean energy production, environmental treatment, green food production, and rural sustainable economic, ecologic and social development.
With a total investment of 39.5 million, the project has the total anaerobic fermentation volume of 21,000 m3 and gas storage volume of 2,400 m3. It owns a starch waste water treatment line and one potato residue treatment line. After the completion of its construction, the project’s starch waste water treatment line can process 2,000 tons of starch waste water per day, and waste water after IC anaerobic and aerobic biochemical treatment will reach the urban sewage discharge standard and be discharged into the municipal sewage pipe network; while the potato residue treatment line can treat 150 tons of potato residue per day, and the residue after CSTR two-stage anaerobic fermentation treatment will produce biogas residue and biogas slurry, which will return to the farmland as organic fertilizer. The two production lines can produce 39,600 m3 of biogas per day and the purified biogas can be used by the 6-ton steam boiler, 4-ton hot water boiler and 500kW biogas generator in the factory. The steam boiler provides heat for the production of starch, and the hot water boiler and generator produce waste heat for the anaerobic system.
