Upflow Sludge Bed-Filter (UBF) is a new type of combined anaerobic fluidized bed reactor developed on the basis of Anaerobic Filter (AF) and Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Bed (UASB). UBF enables very long bio-solid residence time (SRT) and can effectively degrade toxic substances. It is an effective and economical technology to treat high concentration organic waste water. This project is used to treat landfill leachate. It adopts Glass-Fused-to-Steel Tanks. The water facing surface of the tanks is made of enameled glass, and there are fillers and water distribution devices inside the tanks.
